Tough loss for the B’s last night..

The Bruins lost last night in a shootout to the Sabres in a game they controlled all night. A total kick in the dick game..

Both back up goalies got the nod in which seemed like a layup game for us. Buffalo just came off a shootout loss the night prior to the Capitals, while the Bruins had a night of rest Monday. The Bruins dominated all game in time of possession, in the faceoff circle and the scoreboard.  There were several occasions I actually thought we were on power plays with the offensive zone possessions. But in typical Bruins fashion, we let a team hang around, we don’t put them away, and give up a tying goal.. Buffalo tied it on a deflected shot in the 3rd. They looked awful in overtime but got it to a shootout where they scored the only goal of that…

Boston outshot Buffalo 45-24, you gotta give it to Buffalo back up goalie, Anders Lindback. The dude got peppered all game but kept them alive. Lindback is just 2-11 this season but played the Bruins like he was 11-2. He stopped the last 37 shots he faced after giving up the goal halfway through the first period.

That’s now two losses in a row for the Bruins, even though they received a point in this loss, they need to watch out behind them especially with Ottawa getting hot.

Krejci is expected back this weekend, that should be a huge boost to this team, let’s hope we can get some momentum going again to finish the season…
