The Denver Broncos won a game last night that had many up’s and down’s for the now 2-0 team. Down in the game 14-0, the general consent on social media was that Peyton Manning was done. He looked slow, tired and his arm strength was living up to the criticism. Having thrown his second pick 6 in back to back weeks, there began some questioning of the elder QB.

Peyton was sacked 3 times, and all of them there was little effort to avoid contact. On the 3 sacks he essentially just dropped to the ground and took the sack. But the Broncos defense again was able to keep the game close, to the point of taking a tied game into half time.

The second half was another story, Peyton came out slinging and getting back to the basics. The TD Pass to tie the game with :36 seconds left in the game was one of the best passed from Manning yet this brief season, just an absolute laser to Emmanuel Sanders from 19 yards out..

The game was looking to go to overtime, KC just got the ball back with :30 seconds left in the 4th quarter, typically you just take a knee and go to overtime, but not KC. KC handed the ball off to Jamal Charles who coughed up the ball and it was recovered by Bradley Roby and returned for a TD to seal the deal for the Broncos.

None the less it was a great win for the Broncos and it will certainly give them momentum as they prepare for a week 3 match up in Detroit next Sunday night. Manning, who started slow, finished the game with a 26-45 256 YDS 3TD and 1 INT performance.
