The Buffalo Bills announced they have suspended offensive line coach Aaron Kromer for the first six games of the season.
“The suspension will begin on Monday, September 7, 2015 and end with the conclusion of the Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on October 18, 2015,” the team said in a statement. “We worked in conjunction with the NFL on this matter and we are highly supportive of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy that holds all NFL club employees to a higher standard.”
Kromer is eligible to return for the team’s Week 7 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars that will be played in London.
Aaron and his son Zachery Kromer had battery charges against them dropped earlier this week. The charges stemmed from a July 11 incident in which Aaron Kromer was alleged to have punched a boy in the face and threatened to kill his family in a dispute over beach chairs. Zachery Kromer was accused of placing his hands on another boy during the altercation.how the Aaron Kromer remained on indefinite paid administrative leave from the Bills as they began training camp with a practice Friday morning. In their statement Sunday, the Bills said they “look forward to Coach Kromer rejoining the Bills organization at Training Camp.”
Buffalo is in its first training camp with head coach Rex Ryan, who brought in Kromer after his two-season stint as the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator.
It’s a god damn miracle that this guy still has a job… Hitting a kid, that I am assuming is not his own and threatening to kill the kids family? How much of a psycho is this guy? Is this really just going to be blown off like its nothing? If this happened in any high school today, he would be kicked out and sent a looney clinic.. It’s a dam shame this will be blown off by all media outlets like its nothing and he will be welcomed back with open arms when he returns… Shame on you NFL
