I still get chills when the crowd sings 3 little birds when Victorino walks up to the plate. Not my favorite song but just badass how the whole crowd took Vic in and he loved the bond with the fans.
We will miss Victorino in Boston, he may be at the end of his career. I have to say I don’t feel bad for him leaving and going to California and playing with Mike Trout and Pujols. I don’t think he will hate life out there. Will he hang it up after this season? Will he take a small deal next year? That’s undetermined but thank you Shane for a few great seasons!
